In the month of October, we recognise World Food Day. World Food Day is an internationally recognised Day that has been set aside by the UN to highlight the plight of poverty and malnutrition of over 780 million people around the World. The Woolworths Trust together with the EduPlant Programme will be hosting 10 Volunteer Days at various EduPlant schools across the country. Woolworths staff will participate in sustainable food gardening activities and to highlight the need to make a difference in the fight against hunger.
